Made with Xara Web Designer      (CUBE Bi-tracked Experimental Chassis) Product Brief - Revision C                                                                                                                                                                                                                 01 November 2011 DESCRIPTION CUBE-BEC is a tracked aluminum chassis that contains mounting ability for a Freescale Semiconductor Tower System. The chassis is of welded construction to allow for punishment during  the experimental process, with front edge mount points for range  sensors and base points for a robotic arm.  Drive systems contains  two DC motors  with gear boxes and aluminum tracks with  urethane  coating and spring suspension with auto-track tensioning.  The Tower  System mounting doubles as a Roll-Over-Protection System (ROPS).  The ROPS has mounts on the top for attachment of cameras, lights or  anything wanted by the user. There are re-enforcement bars and the  front has threaded mount points to allow for user mounting of 3rd  party attachments. All mount points utilize threaded nut plates  allowing for a longer life of usage. The full package also includes  Tower System motor card (cLS-FSTS-MC2-5) from c-Link Systems.   Optional boards:  cLS-FSTS-COMM, cLS-FSTS-GPS.   This unit is  perfect for students/hobbyist to test motion programming, sensor  usage, guidance control and motion competition.  To access the PDF copy of this document, press the button. c-Link Systems, Inc.
