We thank you for your patience. 27 June 2010Well the three travelers are home and Bill says the FTF in Florida was a great success for both CUBE-BEC and Forager. He also got to meet and work with alot of the technical people that have been helping him up till now over the phone. Now the work really begins.25 June 2010Thanks to Senator Snowe, Bill had a meeting in Washington DC with some very important people on how to get Forager out into the rescue field. We are hoping with Senator Snowes’ help Forager will be making his presence known.(Now that could only be a recipe for trouble!) c-Link Systems, Inc. invaded the CES show with Forager in January of this year. From what I have heard, they had a lot of fun at the expense of those around them. Forager seemed to get a lot of looks and by the long rolls of request for information that I have to enter into the database he seemed to capture the right area of interest for a lot of companies. We were so different that people were not sure how to approach Bill and Dana to ask questions as to what Forager did and how they could utilize him. But it did not take long for the Police, Fire Department and mining community to figure out how he could help them save lives. Bill just explained to each of the interested parties the different payloads that Forager is capable of carrying and what he is capable of performing so that they could see how he could be utilized in their respective fields. If you wish to see a video that was filmed at the CES show, click on the video camera icon and it will start an video for you to watch and get a better idea of what I mean.So far the market for robots seems to be military, military, military. Well, Bill says “Why not commercial, commercial, commercial!” There is an untapped market out there and no-one seems to want to access it And with the earthquakes, tsunamis, mud slides, flooding and unusual weather patterns that have hit the world lately. We need all the help we can get. Bill has found a way, in robotic form, to help in all of these areas. And he has a way to help all of the agencies such as the police, rescue departments, fire departments, the farmers and any others that need help right now. Forager could give them that help without the chance of loosing a life and also cutting costs and helping to find ways to cut costs. Forager can work both tethered and autonomous. Check us out.
